Jazz or jeans, Matcha or museum. Norrköping city center offers a unique mix of diverse experiences, new and old buildings with a lot of character, and an overall welcoming vibe.


NKPG CITY is a joint place branding initiative by local businesses and the municipality of Norrköping. The goal is to develop the city center to improve safety, accessibility and inclusion as well as to boost artisans, foodies and entrepreneurs. And, of course, to make new visitors discover this gem with the help of distinct communication and marketing.

Norrköping is shaped by its rough industrial heritage with well-preserved, iconic buildings and modern settings. The contrasts and clashes of squares, facades, bridges, the dramatic river and buildings turn an ordinary walk into an odyssey. The city’s history, strategy and central values – diversity, dynamics and constant transformation – all set the backdrop for a place brand that will attract and astound new and returning visitors.
